The 2-blade #12s always appealed to me more, but you get an awesome "tang stamp poker" hand with your version, Darren!!I've always been fond of this version...would love to hunt one down at some point.

Did you ever play "serial # poker" with dollar bills when you were a kid? Modifying the game for knife pattern numbers was one of the first things a "numerist" like me thought of as I was introduced to knife makers' stamps. It took me a few seconds to understand what you were talking about but I get it now121111
You have 4 Aces

I don't know...but these sure look like regular clip blades to me not muskrat clips. And that totally changes my plan to not grab any of the NF version

They do not.Do any of the Toothpicks have half-stops?
They look sure enough like regular clip blades, but those tangs are square. The Muskrat clips for the 12's look to be cam tangs. Do any of the Toothpicks have half-stops?

I do recall now you mentioning before some possible tang stamp numbers that would be meaningful for you. That is very cool and adds an extra layer of consideration and anticipation when finding out what is on GEC production schedule (or changes to it)Did you ever play "serial # poker" with dollar bills when you were a kid? Yeah based on the quantities made of those I would say you are correctI don't think I've ever seen one of the purple materials I need to find some photos. I'll bet that purple camel bone is pretty sweet!
This is the only one that I can remember that actually looks purple color. Most of the ones with purple in the name.....are not very purple.
You have to remember how odd GECs naming of jigging and color are.

I happen to know someone who has a database of all the tang stamps who might now need to go look at the data a little differently with this all in mind

Hmmm...yeah I can't imagine those blades will go in the #12...bummerThe plot thickens. I wonder what those classic clip points are for...
That Rosewood has me looking too. I try to stay a little shorter than 4” for watch pocket carry. But it’s a cool knife that I don’t have. (That’s my self imposed buying filter debating my knife loving self out loud.)
