Although I didn't want to buy an #85. those Beaver Tails are the best of the bunch as far as I'm concerned. They actually do look a lot like a Beaver Tail, and that's so cool.
Per our previous discussion, here’s another example of blade etch that I really like. Very nice knife. Looks like you scored a good one.Just pulled my 85 Brazilian Cherry Beavertail out of the tube and oh my what a beauty !!
Big thanks to Gec and Barry@Gunstockjack for sending me yet another perfect example
Wow this just might be my new favorite. It feels so good in hand and the walk and talk is phenomenal and she’s pinchable .
Not the best lighting I guess that’s what happens when your working 11 + hour shifts lol more often then not lol

Thanks the etching does compliment this one and I have to admit wasn’t to fond of the etch in pictures but after seeing it in person I like it .Per our previous discussion, here’s another example of blade etch that I really like. Very nice knife. Looks like you scored a good one.
Like most of the 85 run I think there sold almost the same time there listed .Have I just not been paying attention, or have there been very few dealers post any of the Salmon acrylics?

Mine arrived yesterday and I REALLY like this one, I liked the Brazilian Cherry before but even more with the dark brown/black "torch" like effect it has in this release

Hey Paul,

I agree the torched Cherry is a nice touch and reminds me a little of the beer barrel oak but not as extreme .
They have a nice feel in hand to .
I just might have to pull mine out of the safe and wipe the factory oil off for a carry this 4 day weekend![]()
