The VOLT

I really like the look and feel of my blem volt but the flipper doesnt do it justice. even after a good cleaning and lube it still needs a good bit of wrist action to flick open.

Could be a few things. First, the detent is very tight on these. Give it some time to break in, and it should be fine. A drop of oil in the pivot area might help. Flippers aren't balis or AO's, and there is a technique to getting them to snap open. And while we are talking about snap, hard wrist snap openings are bad for the knife, regardless of who made it.

Technique and break in will be your best solution.

EDIT: Oh yeah, this knife kicks ass!

I push down hard on the flipper and slightly flick my wrist and mine fires open.

Very easy to do with mine.

I ended up with #168.

I don't need any wrist action at all. This is the best flipper, and one of the best knives overall that I have ever handled.
