The "Whatever" Thread

Sorry for the lack of activity this summer. Between a heavy work schedule, building a house (set to move in 1.5 weeks), kids' sports (3days a week), having a car break down multiple times (finally ponied up and fixed it, then sold it yesterday to my brother-in-law), buying a new car, and my oldest starting kindergarten this week I have felt very busy. I've been checking in regularly, but just been slack on posting. I'll try to do better.
 
Got a Spyderco Tenacious from Connie for an early birthday present. Wally World had it on clearance for $22, and I'm really impressed with it.

They marked them down after it was discovered that they were defective! Each one had a hole in the blade.

Heck of a deal, there. great knife. Wally World around here doesn't carry Spyderco. They are my favorite non-traditional folders.
 
Nice snag, you don't see many of them around in wally world to be sure, I like the tenacious as well, good solid edc

I liked the Spyderco tenacious when I owned one. Solid knife for the price. I also had the slighter larger version, the Resilience I believe? Both were great EDC's and I wouldn't hesitate to carry them again.

In case anyone hasn't heard, our JK Fantasy football league is gettign ready to start, if anyone wants a shot at $200 towardsa JK knife, feel free to sign up, we have 1 open spot and 1 unconfirmed (so maybe 2) $20 entry fee due by septemer 8th(open to negotiation if it's a problem I can work with ya), draft is 28th fo this month (open to change.) It's a low pressure league, we tend to ahve a lot fo fun and someone gets a JK order out of it, so that's nice.
