The "Whatever" Thread

Sorry about that, it could have been worse if he had been drinking or going faster. Frustrating for sure, but both walked away, hope with no injuries. Will say a prayer for you guys.

His dad showed up and wanted us to leave before the police showed up, said he would pay for it himself. I “politely” declined, and said we would all wait.

Preliminary estimate is $3320, could be more after they see what is damaged under the bumper. Called his insurance with all the details, they will call me back, hopefully today. So I’m stuck at home waiting.

Hope he has insurance. How's that neck? Sore? Headaches? Blurred vision? Pain that prevents you from working?
Get ahold of Lionel Hutz!

Better call Saul!

Glad it wasn't worse John.

I was rear ended in my ZR2 S10 a few years back and the bolt on brackets that hold the bumper to the frame were bent downward(as was the bumper, duh) and I had the option of just replacing the brackets and bumper or the whole frame. I went with a whole new frame.
Luckily I wasn't hurt so it all worked out.(for me anyways)
The Chrysler Stratus that hit me was totaled and I drove my S10 home.

Give me truck or give me death!

Sorry to hear about that John. I understand that accidents happen, but it is always frustrating when you are observing the rules of the road, and someone else's stupidity/lack of attention/bad driving affects you.

Hope it all works out for you John, glad nobody was injured.
Last accident I was in was at an intersection with a stop sign. The car in front of me stopped then drove on. I pulled up and stopped but the woman driving the car behind me pulled up without stopping. I probably would have told her to not worry about it if she had a slightly better attitude. I called for a trooper, she got a ticket and I got a check from her insurance co. even though there was little noticeable damage to my truck.

I’ve been watching Alone on hulu, kind of interesting. I like seeing the difference in knife choices, everything from khukris to moras. The only item they have in common is an axe.

Finally got time to work on a new sheath for the Element Hunter.

Are you watching the most recent season? My wife and I watched most episodes of every season. It's easy to be an "armchair quarterback" and critique the contestants but I have a lot of respect for all of them. The winners are tough individuals.
