I'm feeling very optimistic about this year :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Gonna get a physical for the first time in years, which I need even if I'm still pretty young...

and starting to slowly work on setting up a workshop for myself, and, especially, reducing the net total of I knives I have over the course of the year

it'll be tricky 'cause I know I'll be acquiring at least a couple new ones, maybe half a dozen or so, so I'll have to buy a Gold membership and get busy on the exchange soon :)

plus lots of other exciting things are bound to happen, I'm sure. hopefully nothing too interesting this time
 
Happy New Year JK Forum!

We decided to head up to Yellowstone for some social distancing with the Wolves, Elk and Buffalo. The knives in the VRBO cabin were pretty dull so my knives were on duty in the kitchen. Spent a few minutes touching up the edges.

Me and John have been bs ing about getting myself a maker account on here to sell some leather. I think I could draw in some more sales for jkhandmadeknives. What are yalls thoughts. I just ordered up a side of herman oak 8/9oz (not cheap lol )for sheaths and rifle slings. The membership is 75bucks that all pretty much wipes out my leather fund.

I think that’s a great idea! The sheath you made for my Bluegill is awesome. I need to get with you to get another order in the pipeline.
 
You know things are crazy when a loved one is in the hospital for major surgery and you're as concerned about them catching the virus as recovering from the operation.
 
Shot my Facebook in the face the gram is next. They lately keep showing me adds, covid and other things I don't give a fuck about. Its almost like its trying to get rid of me lol. They used to only show me knives, bourbon and leather work or supplies but lately it just awkward.

I'm pretty bored and haven't been drinking, its slushy mess outside so no running, leather bench is trashed so no leather working. So my secret hobby i don't really share with anyone is my detailed edge maintenance on my jk's. I get out all of my jk's and line them up. Then I grab my strop. Then I put in a massive dip of Copenhagen and strop them each until the job is done. I like to play Waylon Jennings and be left alone while this important ritual is being conducted.

I enjoy breaking down and cleaning my guns, I find it relaxing.
