Cold the last few days, some jn the teens, but it should warm up to the 50s and low 60s the next few days here in Va.

close to 60 today and tomorrow here, 55 tuesday, 50 wednesday, 25 thursday, 35 friday, 50 for the weekend.

In central Va a Range of temperatures this week in 60s, low 70s middle of the week amd cooler 60s again after the rain. I think some of the trees have been fooled with the temps and some buds are are coming out. Just out of curiosity, I know some small forks were made by John, anything like a larger camp fork for a BBQ or a meat fork been made by John?

Hey John, Those Springfield SA-35 prices are falling! There is one on the gun auction site for $50 over MSRP! Not the $1000 they had been asking. I cheaped out when I decided I needed a Wonder Nine last year and got a butt ugly Ruger p-89 for less then $300. Works good, I put a paper bag over it while shooting it tho!
and it's still raining in East Texas but I did catch a bunch of little trout last week! Yummy! Bunch of Chain Pickerel too.

I had a P89 and the.45 version, both worked flawlessly, but were ugly!
I’ve pretty much lost interest in guns nowadays.

Basketball season is winding down for my youngest son. Last night's win put them into the championship game next week. There may have been 100 spectators at the game and I'm fairly certain Thomas had the largest cheering section. I counted 13 family members.
Small town life has plenty of drawbacks but there's also much to be said for the simple things.

Yup, Your right! I'm in Lone Star, Texas with1400 folks, south end of Morris County, Texas, 12,000 folks county wide. The small Chicago area suburb I moved from in October was 26,000, in a county of approx 5 million. A little differant here!
