The "Whatever" Thread

Getting pretty tired of snow!

I went out coyote hunting this morning with a coworker. It was spitting a little bit of snow. It is pretty bizarre to be standing out in the woods watching the snow fly and listening to (what I assume was) tree frogs croak.

Wow, just in a car accident. Lady ran a stop sign and I hit her in the front end, my wife and daughter were with me, thank God no one was hurt only damage to my car:(
Police came and wrote a report confirming she was in the wrong, now have to go through the process of getting my car fixed and replacing the car seat, paramedics told me it needs to be replaced after going through an accident.

Protorist sent me a kitchen knife for re-handle, thought I'd share a picture or two, they chose purple Kirinite as a handle material so it'll be my first time using it.

Wow - glad you and your family are ok!! Always a scary ordeal.

I hope it turns out to the positive for you. The legal system can be tricky even if the other person was obviously in the wrong; convenience for the DA can sometimes trump the most positive outcome for the victim/complainant. Don't be afraid to get a lawyer.

Happy Sunday! I've decided on no shop work today, just going to kick back, and hopefully catch a nap..

28 degrees here this morning, high 60's by mid week, then dropping to the 40's next weekend. We have our family cookout / hike next Saturday at Kankakee State Park, sure hope the weatherman is wrong! It's become an Easter tradition.

Managed to get a little woods time today and carried what is fast becoming my favorite woodsbumming combo.

Be ready for some burning plastic smells when working with that kirinite.

I love the smell of burning plastic in the morning.:D
Scale materials a little too thin so I have some thick black liner sin the mail.

Thanks Peter. Karen loves the look of that kirinite and I love using that knife. For some reason it just fits me.

I cleaned out an old storage locker this weekend and found my all-time favorite hunting knife. A Gerber Presention 400 that I bought in 1985 and haven't seen in decades. I've been looking for it and thought it long gone.
I'm happy.

Wow, a lot going on here! I gotta make time to check in more often, been really busy around the house here. Tomorrow is the day, got to be at the hospital at 5 AM. My wife is hoping that our daughter arrives before noon, so she can eat lunch.
That is all, carry on.

Hope she gets her lunch on time. Good luck to all of you.
