Man, that's awesome. :thumbup: Honestly, I don't know if I could use a knife that pretty or that expensive if I were in your shoes. The folks who made this sure made it nice to look at, but I'm sure they didn't make it ONLY to be looked at.

My collecting/hoarding gets in the way of my enjoyment sometimes. I would use a custom knife before I used a limited run production knife, because I find them more collectible. For example I plan on buying a Todd Begg Bodega, I will carry that thing with me every where I go. The Bodega cost around $950. However I would stash the $600 (MSRP) 0777 in my collection and never take it outside my house.

I always thought this blade would look sharp with a spyderhole. Although I don't have one and probably won't get one, I think they should have included studs. Doesn't matter because most will never use it which is a shame.

Now I know how those hinderer and spyderco southard tire kickers feel. I really like the knife, I really want the knife, but there is no way I'm paying more than $600 for it. For $950 I can get a Todd Begg Bodega for goodness sake.

It is what it is though, when supply doesn't meet the high demands... where in this case the supply is set at a certain number you could expect the prices to be massively inflated.

She is absolutely superb and 100% custom quality with regard to build quality, function, beauty (in the eye of the beholder) and care of assembly and adjustment prior so shipping and the pivot action probably can't be any better than this in the real world. This comment has no sense of thought in it at all. You fuss because the market (yeah, that's what its called when price meets demand) is high and you blame ZT? This is stupid. ZT isn't selling the knives at this price, retailers or individuals are. You said this yourself.

I guess you have lost respect for Colt and all the other AR style manufacturers out there because the price of an AR-15 has gone from $800 to at least twice that.
