The Zero Tolerance 0777 has arrived!

I had a few knives in my truck (Maxpedition Dodecapod) at work this morning so I was able to snap some comparison pictures of the 0777 next to the knives I have on me right now. I just took these on my tailgate in the parking lot. It's a little overcast so forgive the poor lighting and quality. I tried to line all knives up at the pivots:

Oh no, I've lost no respect for Colt and love AR-15's. The difference is that the high prices of AR-15 are due to political policies and panic buying. I can see no reason for the ZT 0777 costing what it does as they will be available for awhile.
 
The 777 exceeded expectations and they were pretty lengthy and lofty...congrats ZT, Jim, Thomas, and crew on an iconic blade!!!

I would say that the inflated price for the 0777 has to do with panic buying as well. People could not get on a pre-order list and were afraid they would not get one so they bought at whatever price was available. If you didn't pay the $800 - $1000 for the knife why do you really care what someone else did?

Maybe that fool done paid a bundle for that thing just to cut up food with it, when there's a perfectly good 5 dollar knife right there! :D

Ehhh, anything is better than never even being opened or taken out of the house in my opinion, but to each his own.

Hey, he is using that $5 knife! How else can he prop up the burger? :D
 
Thats the best pic ive seen so far of the 777!!! U go and use the sh&% outta that knife, it deserves it.
 
I'm a bit disappointed that the copper accent line didn't make it to production. It is a nice looking knife though.
 
That is the sexiest knife I have ever seen. I just hope there are some left after all of the pre-orders are shipped. Not hopeful.

On the flip side, I think this is the cleanest braze joint I've seen from KAI so far and feel it's hands down better than the Tilt . . . The fit is basically seamless on mine short of the color contrast. I like it this way.
