Theoretical evidence that the strider PT is better than the small sebenza

In all seriousness, can someone please tell me what actual "hard use" they've done with the Pt that couldn't have been done with the Sebbie.

I own both knives and am genuinely curious as to how much "hard use" can be done with the Pt's 2 1/4" cutting edge. Maybe my definition of hard use is different?

I not sure that there is any that could not be done with the Seb, but I know that there is a lot that I feel more comfortable doing with the PT than I am the seb. I have handle the regular and inlayed small Sebs and I have a limited small on order now. I get a far better grip on my PT than I do on the Seb. The Seb is a very strong knife and it would do almost anything, but my hand slips more on it than it does on the PT. As for the blade size, yes I wish it was a bit longer, but I have been using the PT this week to unpack a bunch of equipment at home and have cut the evil cardboard, strapping cords, plastic sheeting and created shim material out of a board as well as a variety of other tasks, all handled. Would the Seb do the same, of course it would, but for the rough stuff I like the PT. Steven

I have used the PT as a dive knife , and have used it a lot working aloft . IMVHO the Sebbie isn't grippy enuff for that sort of play . That nasty grabby grip , and lovley big choil make it very secure in the hand .
