There is always room for improvement! 💪🏼

Day 2 of workstation shenanigans

5 tuck jump to handstand for a (not slow enough to be 1 second) count to 30

Using a timer doesn't work for me and I always F it up during the last few seconds.
Along with fatigue, previous balance issues at work were due to having the lights turned off. The light from the computer monitors weren't bright enough for me to focus on a spot between my hands.

Edit: grammar correction to a instead of an

Have plans tonight so I had to do twice the workouts yesterday.

Did legs, shoulders, back and biceps all in under 45 minutes. Little sore today but that is okay since I am not lifting today. I've lost 1 pound so far this year. Its a marathon not a sprint....

Day 3 of workstation hijinx

5 tuck jump to handstand for a (not slow enough to be 1 second) count to 30

5 sets of 2 reps each leg for pistols

Trying to establish this as my new baseline or it may turn out to be 1 step forward followed by 2 steps backwards.

It wasn't raining to day and completed a 1 mile shuffle step in 12 minutes. Slower than previous shuffle steps but it is what it is.

5 x jump (either tuck or straddle) to handstand for a (not slow enough to be 1 second) count to 30.

Time for "Honey, do's..." and will do some stretching later.

What did you do today to improve your health and/or work on reaching your goals?

Well here is the only downside to having a garage gym. Without insulated doors. Even with my electric heaters it’s 24 degrees in garage. Won’t be lifting today or next couple while this cold spell is in effect. Luckily we have the treadmill inside. Be running at least a mile a day.

I've had a stationary bike set up in the loft of our (unheated) garage for recovering from knee surgery. I've been going out there in fleece-lined pants, a down jacket, gloves and a wool hat to spend 20 min. at a time on it. Some people might think I'm not so smart. 🤣

Finally got the green light from my PT for real biking and XC skiiing as long as I stay on mellow terrain for now, so I've been riding my fat bike the last few days which is so much better. Stationary bikes bore the shit out of me.

I think it was 24 degrees in my 'heated' Planet Fitness today, although I will allow that was still 35 degrees warmer than outside.

For a stationary, we've had an Assault Air Bike for a few years now and find it pretty good. My son and I both use it a few times per week. I have a few different workouts I like to do depending on whatever else we're doing that week.

The sun is out but no shuffle steps for me today.

5 rounds of the following circuit:
A - Straddle jump to handstand for a (not slow enough to be 1 second) count to 30.
B - Shrimp squat to pistol
C - Supported front split to standing straddle split (the position you assume when Admin is on the way to see you) to supported front split
D - F'ugly pancake stretch with 3 leg raises
E - F'ugly forward fold with 3 leg laises
