Senator Geary, Godfather Part 2, a lot of good quotes in that oneWell uh, it's perfectly all right with me, but I should tell you that I am a blunt man and I intend to speak very frankly here -- maybe -- more frankly than anyone in my position's ever spoke to anyone here before.

On Pluto. Haven’t you heard?where is all this a lot of talk within the knife community, happening?
I saw some of it scribbled on the stall wall at a rest stop on the Mass turnpike the other day.where is all this a lot of talk within the knife community, happening?
sure it wasn't Hartford?I saw some of it scribbled on the stall wall at a rest stop on the Mass turnpike the other day.
This is getting a bit political so if the OP would simply purchase a basic membership it could be moved to the politics subforum where they love these debates.
?? People talk about it.We all know that inflation is the elephant in the room that nobody wants to talk about,
Then you're not ALL for buy American.Look, I'm all for buy American, but I'm not spending twice as much money on an American made knife that costs twice as much as a Civivi knife that is better than the American product.
I choose to lump it then. Anyone, including you, can spend your money on whatever products you like, made in whatever place, by whoever.Quite frankly, Civivi knives are winning in both areas. You can like it or lump it, but that's just the way it is.
In your position? What position is that? Who are you supposed to be?I intend to speak very frankly here -- maybe -- more frankly than anyone in my position's ever spoke to anyone here before.
Great idea, if the OP can handle bluntness.&
would be more interesting
It seems his bluntness has been blunted![]()
That has been one of my favorite news outlets in the past as well.I saw some of it scribbled on the stall wall at a rest stop on the Mass turnpike the other day.
I apologize for my shortcomings. I seem to be spoiling everybody's brandy and cigars and... dreams of escaping reality.Look if that's how you want to vote with your dollars go ahead. That's capitalism. But just realize that you are absolutely saying "Screw American manufacturers and screw American workers" with your vote. It's just like when we all went to Wally World (and later Amazon) instead of the Mom&Pop to save a few bucks, then we all lament the death of the American town.
I don't buy Chinese knives because they are not cool to me. No amount of smooth flipping and intricate Titanium machining is going to change that. There is NO VALUE WHATSOEVER there TO ME PERSONALLY. Your "honest appraisal" is your opinion based on what you value. Fair enough. Who are you trying to convince here? Do you think you are going to change anyone's mind in regards to what they themselves prefer?
You aren't being blunt here and telling like it is, you're just blindly stating your opinion like it is set in stone from on high. I have no interest in trying to convince you otherwise.
Don't stick anything in any holes in there. Turns out those weren't done by the stall manufacturer. That has been one of my favorite news outlets in the past as well.
