gotta say, i really hope it sells for 9.99 and he follows through. i have a feeling that he'd end it at 25 hours and claim some bogus reason to get out of it since the price on xyz forum was so high.
 
sigh.... if I had the money I woulda taken these things off the market the first fail-go-round. woulda been worth it just to send it back to jerry.

jebus thats a lot of no-longer-registered users on that feedback page... and 17 bid retractions in 6 months, what the hell is that? who retracts that many bids? ugh.

it's kind of a joke, kinda serious. there's a no linking policy on the boards, so thats a legit reason for not giving links, and honestly theres normally only 5 or 6 places these things happen at. since the smaller venue's normally don't get high traffic it's generally out in the open and easy enough to find.

I wish I had a grand to spend on it just to get it off the market, but my 200$ unemployment supplement just doesn't go that far these days. especially when it's going up against shill bidding.

I'm all kindsa confused now. I thought agustrat (walkingman) had bought it from gpripper but augustrat's main bidder is gpripper. so either walkingman (agustrat) happens to be doing the same fail as gpripper and gpripper is trying to get a blade he already has for sale or they are the same person and he's using his gpripper account to shill bid his augustrat account.

irony: ed is into virology. i am done google stalking this thing, all it's gonna do is make me frustrated should I actually find that gprippers is actually agustrat. i'm already disturbed by the amount of information I've found on walkingman. google should not give up that much information with so little effort.

I'm now pretty sure this is a circular fail fest. walkingman is selling it and gpripper is buying it so he can resell it on his jd thread. not only is he breaking the verbal contract, he's doing it for turn around profit.

i wonder if that's where he got the souls in the first place.... he's bought from the augustrat account before, and I wouldn't put it past walkingman...

hmm.... since i frequent sleazbay would someone be so kind as to provide his seller name as to make sure i don't buy from him anytime in the future???

If this is a bad idea i understand. I just don't want to support someone who doesn't abide by the rules, and I have no idea of the knife you speak.
 
Seems he's now adding stuff to claim that he's not selling a knife, just its soul :foot:. Nevertheless, people are bidding it up :rolleyes: :confused:
 
That's too bad he's acting funky....I talked with him a while after he was banned and even bought a knife off him at a great price....he even shipped it to me before I paid him....out of all the conversations I had with him and the dealings I've had with him he seemed like an upstanding guy, top notch. Might it be that it's not him? Just curious.
 
I looked on "that auction site" and didnt see anything. Perhaps I am missing something. Regardless if he was to breach a verbal or written contract with Jerry out of spite....poor morals IMO:thumbdn:
 
pbubsy - I too have had good dealings with Ed in a couple of transactions. He can be one of the nicest people you'll meet. His exit from BFC, however, was EXTREMELY uncharacteristic of those pleasant encounters. He seems to run hot/cold. Not much in between, I suppose. I guess I was lucky to only get the positive in our interactions.

gprippers was a NW guy who was at Blade West a few times. Again, hot/cold.

In common? They were both banned for bad behavior on BFC... and then banned MULTIPLE times as they tried to sneak back on board.

Resinguy and Steelnut, I believe, have met Ed at their Ohio get-togethers.
Several members met gprippers at BladeWest.

Interesting...

The sale? Sad as much as dishonorable.

The description? A glimpse into... something. :)
 
Honestly, why give the guy the attention he obviously desperately craves by bringing up his exploits here? If he was banned, it was probably for good reason, and talking about this juvenile auction (yeah, I searched and found it) is just bringing more attention to him - exactly what he wants, since he can't post here himself.

Forget this goofiness.... LET'S DRINK!
