Thickest Strongest LINER lock?

I was just watching one of CrimsonTideShooters' videos on the youtube. He was talking about how TI Frame locks are not as strong as most (steel) liner locks. I do agree 100%. Frame locks are way over hyped IMHO.
So I started thinking about liner locks that I've owned. Of the many, a few stand out. Benchmade Dejavoo and mini dejavoo Kershaw S60V blur, leek and black out, Spyderco Military, tenacious and resilience, Fox Col. Moschin etc etc

I liked these knives enough to carry them all for extended periods of time. Many of them I really beat on, some held up, some didn't.

Anyway, I was wondering, Which knife has the thickest strongest liner lock? I know that some knives have brass or Titanium liners and I am not interested in them. Steel is what I am after. No frame locks (unless they are steel)

Thanks
-Chris

The spyderco PPT is has a very thick liner but it could also be called a frame lock. Either way it's thick;)

The point of the video wasn't to say that liner locks are stronger than frame locks. It was meant to show that liner locks are just as strong given that the lock thicknesses are the same. (in example: the frame lock cut out is the same thickness as the whole locking liner) :)

I don't know about productions, but I've seen some seriously thick and beefy liner locks in some custom knives. I'm about to get a burnley/krein Raven which has a beefy Ti liner lock. Should be a cool one!

Of the knives that I own, my Emerson A100 certainly has the thickest liner lock. But I have no way of knowing which would be the strongest liner lock without testing my knives to failure. So I can only speculate when I say that the A100 is probably the strongest by way of being thickest, but all my other folders are plenty strong enough for my EDC tasks so it doesn't matter much to me.

EDIT: I see you specified ti linerlocks. I got nothing left to recommend. Hah. It's all been said already.

HMM.. Thanks for the clarification CrimsonTideShooter. BTW, after watching your videos I now have to read your posts with a southern drawl.

I know that Emerson used TI liner locks on some of there knives. I believe that the ZT350 is also TI. How much do you all think that this effects the over all strength of the lock?
In my mind Steel is stronger than TI.
What do you all think of the Kershaw Steel frame lock knives? Such as the Shallot and Storm?

I've had both the Shallot and storm, I liked the shallot better but the storm was still nice, both had pretty thick lockbars but i believe the shallot was a bit thicker.

the 0350 is steel and plenty thick for whatever your doing, it's a total workhorse.

I have a Emerson CQC 13, ZT 200, Military, and Gayle Bradley, the GB has the thickest liner lock/least amount milled from the cut out.

My ZT 0200 and Spyderco Gayle Bradley stand out. The liners are the same thickness, but as michael noted, the GB has less milled out at the cutout.

According to Sal Glesser, liner locks and frame locks usually fail and the fasteners, not the cutouts. So a thicker liner isn't really adding to the lock strength like you'd think it would.

Sorry buddy, but titanium will always be stronger. If the liners were exactly equal in size the Ti liner would be about twice as strong and less than half the weight(if 420j2) which is very common. The thing I like about Ti I like is it's corrosion resistance. I love the liners on my Ontario Hossom Retribution 1. Thick, strong and macho. I'm still a Demko guy though, if strength is the major concern.

The Gayle Bradley has incredibly thick liners. The liners give some framelocks a run for their money.
