This grab bag thing is exiting!

Christmas in..... Well, whenever they arrive. :)

As it had been stated before, this takes much of the "should I?, shouldn't I?" Off of the customers plate making for a much more pleasing meal, as there is no such thing as "bad bacon"... Or pizza... Or.... ;)
 
I'm out. If I want a knife I buy it. I don't like to gamble. I hope you all get what U want. There are some I'd like to hold and try. but I don't think anyone will get a sword of infi !! I hope i'm wrong and Good Luck to all who went with a grab bag.

I was starting to think I was the only one...
I won't say that I'm not interested/intrigued; I'm simply not sold on the idea - it's not that I'm worried about not getting my money's worth; I just don't want things that I don't want. Perhaps worse is knowing that I could get something I want in a color combination I dislike. Sure...I could flip them; but that comes with its own set of hassles. (I've got a few from O2W that aren't for me - and they're sitting here because I don't like dealing with the selling process)

Still, there is an appeal in the excitement & suspense; and I'm human enough to be influenced by that...so, maybe - if there are any left by the time I give up on talking myself out of it (or if I drink enough before that to shrug off my silly concerns and click a few buttons)

Just in the first 8 hours or so of it being available, there seems to have been a HUGE positive response, more so than any blade I can recall.

This will be one for the record books. Busse will have made tens of thousands in sales by saying "trust us, we'll take care of you". Unheard of! Seriously, has there ever been anything like this before? Not just the knife world but in general. Truly amazing...

To make it even more amazing, it was done on a week with arguably one of the best received triple offerings since op2wks has kicked off. Well done Jerry. Well done.

My thoughts exactly. This week's offering was, in my opinion, the best looking O2W blade yet. It kinda gave me pains picking a grab bag instead but I couldn't pass up paying $500 and getting an $800 dollar return. I imagine that by the number of responses we've seen here, it's going to take a while before these start dinging (so i gambled andbordered amother one) and I bet that the Swamp won't have any blades available on their site for much longer. Boss man is gonna need stocking suffers for all these bags.
 
The mystery bag is interesting, and you can trust that Busse will make it MORE than worthwhile.;) That said, I certainly understand the different points of view, and fortunately there should be enough to make everyone happy.:D
 
When you built the reputation it is easy to trust. And we had the benefit of seeing how they took care of the other Mystery Item purchasers from a couple weeks ago. Easy to have trust when they take care of their base!

Couldn't agree more I had so much fun receiving my mystery blade I had to get in on round 2.
 
This is awsome, its not my style of buying not knowing, but its a great way of getting out of my comfort zone, and hopefully ending up with something cool, that i wouldn't normaly buy.
and to get a better chance at INFI i emailed Lexi, and hopefully she can change my $250 bag to a $500...

Couldn't help myself, I ordered the $500 grab bag thought about it for about 2 minutes and had to order a 2nd $500 bag...here's the great grab bag mystery :thumbup::thumbup::D
 
Once these start shipping there are going to be so many blades in circulation that I almost feel like we may need to set up an outsideplace where grab bag recipients can trade blades with each other without mucking the Busse and Kin exchange all up.
 
Just got a confirmation from Lexi, she changed my order to a bigger bag lol

Just got the word from pokey that these boxes will not be queued in line with other blades. They could be shipping rather soon but all of it including who gets which box is up in the air... I hope these come soon. I'm interested to keep what I want and sell all that I don't...

Well this is my first post here and just made my first purchase from the Busse store, and I dont even know what it is?
What the heck we are doing I don't know, but its going to be a blast.

These will be my first busses as well! 2 big mystery bags coming, all this suspense is better than Christmas as a kid!!
