does anyone sleep with their knives? i know that every night, there is me, with athletic shorts, a kershaw blur, and nothing else. does anyone else keep one of their little metal friends with them at all times?
 
Yeah, I'd be careful with sleeping with and AO knife. To answer the question, my EDCs and a short sword/big knife (CRKT Hisshou) are pretty close to where I sleep, though they're not in my pocket or anything.
 
I have a bedside folder at all times, a Surefire and a HD Remington 870 with 00 buckshot in the tube.

I keep my EDC on the night stand but only so I can find it in the morning. I do sleep with my Remington 870 though.
 
No, I don't sleep with or near knives. I'm too worried about accidently cutting myself or my wife since I tend to move a lot while dreaming.
 
Nope...my Sebenza has its own spot on a shelf in my closet. The last thing I want to worry about is an accidental circumcision in the middle of the night.
 
That does seem a little weird but I guess there's weirder things you could be doing. I've fallen asleep neck carrying my Izula a few times but it's never intentional.

No. I do have several knives in my night stand though. I think it's a little strange to have a knife in bed with you IMHO.
 
my girlfriend has my gen 1 ka-bar under her pillow and i have my kukri under mine with a rock hammer between my night stand and the bed
 
I keep a mora and another fixed blade on my table. My edc folder for that day is generally there aswell, there not there for self defence but I guess if I had to.
 
It is difficult to sleep with a knife when you sleep in your birthday suit. I have my BK7 hung over the edge of my lofted bed. Nothing scarier than a completely naked man jumping out of a tall bed wielding a giant knife.

Wow, I thought I was a knife nut. You def have me beat. As to the 870 guys, does a Benelli M4 loaded with #4 Buck count :)

:thumbup: Its one thing to fall asleep with a sheathed fixed blade under a pillow or something, but a blur, in your shorts? You're a braver man than I.

I have a la griffe on my night stand. Fell asleep once with a gerber and woke up with a very bloody pillow and some future scars on my hand, got off lucky that time very lucky.:)
