I know, some of you carry a different knife every day. But some of us have been walking around with the same old thing for so long it's become a part of us. Here's mine. Post yours.

If I didn't consider you to be a friend, I'd have to clean the Cosmoline off the flamethrower for that.

Still might do it.:D

I've carried the Buck Metro on my keychain for probably 15 years. On the rare occasions I remove it, it feels distinctly odd.

My pocket? Used to be the one on the left, for years. Felt weird if it wasn't there everyday. It's been retired to the glovebox, I carry the one on the right now. It gets used at least a half dozen times a day....

Had this one for a long time, and it's been used off and on.

Used to be a Victorinox Classic on my keychain for the past twenty years or so until I 'upgraded' to a Rambler about a year ago. So handy. I'd probably miss my keychain SAK the most if I didn't have it. Next knife in line would probably be my Vic Tinker: probably carry it at least 5/7 days a week.

ETA: I just haven't found a one-hander I like as much as my SAKs. I have a couple of 'nice' ones, but nothing I'd forsake all others for... :D

I'd have to say this Kershaw JYD II is mine. I like to pair it with a more traditional knife, but this one gets pulled out when the dirty work is needed!

I will reserve a spot here too. I will need to take a picture of the two I carry. The only reason for switching between the two is sometimes I misplace one:o Always find the missing one when the other is in the pocket, I think its a conspiracy or something by the guys that change knives every couple of hours

I am unable to post picks right now, but I have had a 5OT in my pocket everyday since April of 1996.

I wish I hadn't got my Endura stolen, I had carried it from about 96'-08'

My large CV stockman grew legs a few weeks ago. Still mad about it, still looking for it.

My Swisstool gets carried/used every work day or outside weekend day.

The bottom one. Was more used when I lost it.

I do carry different pocket knives every day, but this one stays on my desk at work. I've had it now for about 4 or 5 years and it gets used every day at lunch time.

This mini-grip is the closest I've come to that in recent years. I don't have a great love for the knife but it is a good knife and works well.

I'm not sure that I have ever had a knife that was really "my" knife. I carry a knife, then I find one that I like better and carry it for awhile, then on to the next one. The mini-grip recently got displaced from my EDC by a M390 Para 2. The Para 2 is a very good knife and is a favorite on these forums, but I'm not yet sure if it can become "my" knife. I've been a Benchmade fan for a long time and I've been looking for the ultimate Benchmade to make "my" knife. I've picked a coupe that I think might work and I may yet buy one of them, but there is no assurance that they would become "my" knife. I've considered others too, such as the Blur or maybe a ZT.

No need to post pics of "mine", but I have carried a plain edge BM 943 in 154CM in my back pocket for dang near 8 years now. While I usually alternate a "bigger" knife in my front pocket (currently the black BM275 Adamas), the 943 is always with me. It is a very high quality knife, and a hallmark design of Benchmade's line.

It is designed thin enough that it disappears in the pocket, yet has a very comfortable working grip and still sports a nearly 3.5" long blade. To me, it is a great daily companion and gets used ALL the time.
