Can you get all that white crap squared away by the time I have to travel to Huntsville next week? I don't appreciate going to the 'south' and freezing my ass off. Thanks!

I'm working on it. Suppsoe to be nice weather moving in this weekend and staying that way for a while. Been seeing Robins in pairs so that's a good sign that Spring may be around the bend. Sap is coming back up in the trees and even have some trees starting to bud out. So, it's all looking up!

Yeah, but I'm on a mission. I go out every day now, rain, snow, sleet or shine. Most days I'm also practicing some skills while out there. I also service the game cameras once a day to see what's lurking in my woods and around my bait stations.

What cameras do you use? I have a Ltl Acorn 5210a that I am experimenting with trying to find the perfect settings. I've been tracking coyotes and bobcats all winter and right now the cam is out on a bobcat den. Going to pick up the camera tomorrow.

This is the only pic of it that I have, but i will take some more that show the cam and not just the security box when i pick it up. It is great. Very small (small enough to bring to central america ;) ) and has a metric crap ton of settings and options. Best, is two side sensors pick up movement before the animal crosses the cameras field of view and it preps the camera to fire on time so no more pictures of tails and asses. It's great for me because it can be set real sensitive. I couldn't careless about getting shots of deer.

Just started using the Moultrie Game Spy D-55IR. Got two of them. One is currently on a bait station that I service every day. I've yet to get any Bobcat traffic but I know they're here. Mostly coons and deer. The thing about bobcats is they don't come to eat the bait but they will hang out to eat what is eating the bait. ;)

it was -9 this morning when I stopped to fill the gas tank - at those temps, I actually wore a hat & fleece lined shirt as a jacket. (-25 wind chill)
need more snow, but nooooo -- it's going to be 48 on Sunday and mid-50's by Tuesday, so everything is going to be a muddy bog. (until the next round of storms late next week)

If I could I'd add it to our current 16". I love the cold weather and the snow. Best kind of weather in my opinion.

Amen to that!
We only got 2 to 3 inches this week, but it will be gone by tomorrow. It was 5 degrees when I woke up this morning, but it is suppose to be in the 60's on Monday.:thumbdn:

I hope you get all the snow your little heart desires.

It was -11 with a -32 wind chill when I got up this morning. It is supposed to be 61 in south central Kansas next wed. Gotta love the Kansas weather.

haha, that sucks.....

I hate snow, I'm also ready for summer, now you know how I feel 5 months out of the year......

Gotta love the snow! Today it was about -20 when I was on my way to work. When I went for lunch its up to a balmy -5. Supposed to be highs in the 20s this weekend and I am looking forward to it. Winter is never fun in North Dakota, but I have been here my whole life, so it doesn't really bother me. When I was in college a few years back we had a bad stretch of -50 weather (without wind chill mind you). I will take anything about -20!

I wish we would get atleast 3 snowflakes so they would close post and I'd get friday off

Cold and wet here. It rained all night. My outdoor activity for the day was to get some beef for stew. :D
