This must be where the DEKs hang out, eh?

I've been trying to figure this out on my own but even after reading most of the 95 pages from DEK1 tread I still need help. What kinda a Swedge is the one in the pictures below? I've seen the sharpened tip, sharpened swedge, regular swedge and it seems to me like it's none of those.
DEK1.
No real name for it. Hand done by Mark in a manner that pleased his eye at the time. That can be said for most of the pieces at the compound sale. It may be unique, but at minimum it will remain extremely rare even if he chooses to replicate it on another one later on. In any case, it is a special CPK from both perspectives of how it was ground and how it was acquired. Use it or don't, but you have a great one either way, A.

Thank you guys!
I love the DEK1 configuration and especially the one I got.

I concur with Grenock Grenock ... That looks like a "one-off" hollow ground satin DEK1 with a unique swedge in D3V.:cool:

My magnacut hollow ground satin DEK1 with a swedge that was also acquired up in Mooresville and spec'd with double red canvas micarta seems to be a "one-of-three" from that gathering? My sample, Yoko's and also the one that Marc posted up here elsewhere on the sub-forum (his sample had blue ti-torx hardware vs. the shiny silver ti-torx on the other two samples).

All three look very similar but they were all hand ground by CPK Mark so there could be some slight grind variations between them just like there are with Mark's CR-35 Reapers.
