This SNARK has teeth! *(...and chronic halitosis.)

Idea in progress, EDC light setup for my 14 (in a great sheath from 710) I wanna replace the rubber band with some elastic cord if I can find some but this is the general concept. I'm also thinking about fabricating a metal band to sit in that top eylet that the light would clip on to.

I gotta ask guys. And I am assamed but. Does anyone else watch finding bigfoot on animal planet? I have found myself addicted to it. Not because I believe in bigfoot, but to see those bongwater drinkin fools run around and regaurdless of what it is they find, they are always able to justify that its a sashquach. I find it halarious. I can't get enough of it.

"Yeah 6' is small for a squatch, but it's probably a baby squatch! "

Love it. I want to go in the woods where they are and respond to their knocks! I would have way too much fun.

Hey Wambs, get some nylon webbing and wrap it into a tube, melt holes into it, and use chicago screws to affix it. Should work pretty well and hold up fairly nicely.

I'm thinking, might be kind of cool Wambo to modify something like Sagewood does for knife retention but applied to the flashlight. Do like a leather strip inside a kydex clip.

both of these are awesome Ideas  I'm thinking some nylon till I can pick up some Kydex to try out that clip retention idea.

Been trying to find a short KA-Bar to match the one I have, found one!! handle is not as dark as the one I have but it will do.

It was that hard to find? I have a short with a dark handle, although I'm not sure if its from use or it came like that. I did Fisk it too, now the thing cuts like a laser and whittles hair on a pretty thick edge.

Gotta remember what the good sites / blogs were that I followed last year. E2E, for sure...can't remember who else was thorough.

"Squatch".
Just wanted to say it. Ha!

I decided NOT to buy the micarta Izula scales for the 14 after all. I've got the zytel ones, and they'll suffice. I'd rather add the 20usd (when you'd add shipping) to my savings so I can get a 16 :-)

Has anyone been over on the Kershaw/ZT page lately? Lots of cool new knives being posted up. I believe I will be putting the ZT0566 on my must have list.

Reading the news this morning I see where a 36yr. old retired air force vet and his two sons ages 8 and 10 died while on a hike I'm missouri. Seems they went out in 60 degree wheather with only light jackets and no gear other than a cell phone an a flashlight that where both out of batteries. Got lost and froze to death. Very sad. Let it be a leason to us all about being ill equipped. Very sad
