Personally I think sticking with the XJ is certainly not a bad idea.

What number Becker is this

Watched Django Unchained yesterday. I'm a Tarantino fan, and I thought to know what to expect, but there were some harsh scenes in it. Loved it nonetheless.
The movie evoked many contrasting feelings with me. Some were strong, some a bit less, but I always felt something.
It's a movie I won't forget very soon, that's for sure, and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride it took me on.

Well, tomorrow will mark the 6 week anniversary of payment for knives to Greybush without so much as a hint when we will see our knives.
The legacy of Thrillbilly lives on! :grumpy:

yeah, that sucks. i got his phone #, but no pickups, just VM

maybe i'll try texting him a couple times today...

well, he's on warning probabtion ban this week, and if he doesn't fess up, they're going to to make that permanent.

his Becker number is of course in jeopardy, plus his overall good standing here, and naturally Ethan ... he'll never goto a gathering again. Bladeshow? forget about it ;P

i'm hoping he turns around. we don't need more thieves.

Impressed Blade! Slacklining has become super-popular in the climbing community but we are too old to actually be good at it! Agree with you about the bike on the slackline. Incredible!

You into trials riding?

ppft, too old :) i'll be slacking 3 seasons :)

trials - i'd like to play around with that, but best i can manage is watching some people do it, or check out some comps on tv sometimes

I am thinking about trading my cherokee (XJ) for a wrangler (YJ). Any wrangler owners here? Psyop?

I had a 96 XJ. Loved it. It had 178k miles on it and I would of trusted it to drive anywhere. The inline 6 in those are the best engine jeep ever made imo. Id still be driving it but I totalled it hitting a deer. I then bought a YJ. say goodbye to your lockable storage. If it a 4 banger needless to say they lack power bigtime. I put a chevy 350 in mine which isn't hard to do but then it nickel and dimed me to death. Sold it not to long ago and bought a 06 TJ just a couple months ago. Nice jeep, but I still miss my old beater XJ. And like the YJ the TJ has no storage. But they are fun in the summer with the top down. Its all a trade off.

This one has the 4.2 L6 which has a carb instead of EFI. I think I am going to keep the XJ for now.

A XJ is a damn good vehicle. Id buy another one in a heartbeat for a EDD.

I do like it. Just needs some mods for me to love it. The extra room is nice too.

When it comes time to haul gear, that extra space comes in mighty handy. Mine has seen better days, but I wouldn't trade it for anything other than another XJ. (Hopefully one in better condition.) ;)

Thats the AMC 258 a great engine. I have had 3 jeeps with that engine and 2 with the 4.0 straight 6 that is the descendent of the 4.2
