On the other hand, his ontario rat 7 review was what eventually got me into rat cutlery / esee. The rat 7 was what came before 3 izula's an rc-3 and rc-4.
It's not too far fetched to think that might have happened more often in the past. So he probably helped spread the word about tkcfkarc (the knife company formerly know as..)
Yea, there's good and bad in it. Like I said, the misquotes and bad info cause some confusion and cause me work (If I had a dollar for everytime I heard "But Nuttinfancy said...").
But your right, I'm sure his reviews have helped spread the word on a multitude of brands.
I did notice a pretty massive uptick in interest in the RAT-1 folder here on BF after his series of videos on it. Could have been coincidence....
As to shotgunner's comment about having a huge fanbase and thus having high expectations and he should raise the bar: I guess you could go on about this for politicians for hours too![]()
Yes, you really have no idea how much I complain about politics.

And there is a hype going on in my opinion, everybody's talking about how they are so excited about everything about rc and they do so in LARGE numbers. Just look at the Rat Pack, that's great, it's great marketing, it's a great idea, but it's a hype too![]()
The RAT pack was my thing. It really started with the absolutely most innocent of intentions. Mostly to make keeping track of contest enteries and contest winners easier.
It has taken on a life of its own.
