My first WE Knife, and I'm damn impressed. I've been collecting knives--production, mid-tech, custom, high end art knives, antiques, you name it--for upwards of forty years, and the action on this knife is easily as good, or better than, anything in my experience. WE Knives have their pivot, detent and flipper geometry absolutely
dialed-in. I'd rate the overall fit and finish several notches above your average ZT. The quality control and attention to the smallest detail are downright maniacal for a production knife, let alone one that's competitively priced.
The 612 blade profile is obviously intended to be more of a trendy visual tour de force in multifaceted grinding and two-tone finishing, so, much as I'm tempted to use it, I'll probably concede that it's too impractical for my regular EDC chores and just enjoy the show. That said, the grind symmetry is deadnut, it's shaving-sharp out of the box, and it's ground nice and thin behind the edge in spite of its 4mm blade thickness and narrow profile.
