Thoughts on WE Knife?

its called "the pioneer of the nile". pre orders are getting built now, shouldn't be to much longer.

I kinda hope WE make an all carbon fiber knife soon. they don't really use much cf when they do use it. I hear that its hard to find good void free carbon fiber in China, is that true?
Hey man! WE only selects the best materials. If its not available in China they will ask me to source it for them in USA.

My first WE Knife, and I'm damn impressed. I've been collecting knives--production, mid-tech, custom, high end art knives, antiques, you name it--for upwards of forty years, and the action on this knife is easily as good, or better than, anything in my experience. WE Knives have their pivot, detent and flipper geometry absolutely dialed-in. I'd rate the overall fit and finish several notches above your average ZT. The quality control and attention to the smallest detail are downright maniacal for a production knife, let alone one that's competitively priced.

The 612 blade profile is obviously intended to be more of a trendy visual tour de force in multifaceted grinding and two-tone finishing, so, much as I'm tempted to use it, I'll probably concede that it's too impractical for my regular EDC chores and just enjoy the show. That said, the grind symmetry is deadnut, it's shaving-sharp out of the box, and it's ground nice and thin behind the edge in spite of its 4mm blade thickness and narrow profile.

That anodized/stonewashed finish is great. That knife is a space ship ! My next we might be their integral model.

@rick isnt the hidden stop pin a design from Rexford?

For me personally im really digging the 618 with plain Ti and satin blade.

I was so impressed with my first WE, I ordered a second. Should be here today!

Vlad I really like the war admiral. Is there a way to order it with custom options? Nothing crazy just adding materials I have seen from your other knives. Feel free to pm me.

I've been eyeballin' the 620s for a while now. Anyone have any experience with that model, cutting performance or otherwise? I'm a sucker for a good "sheepscliffe" blade shape.

I have a question and someone here may know, will WE continue to make models they introduced last year? Will they keep an updated list of models available in production?

There is one model from this past year I'd like to get, but I can't afford it at the moment. So I'd like to know if they are gone when they are gone or if they will do more runs of the 6XX models.

None of the WE models have been discontinued yet. They make them in batches, but there doesn't seem to be any method to what they make and when. For instance, they still make the 604, but it isn't available at most retailers and hasn't been for a while... so, until they make another batch.
