Three Most Important Items in Your EDC

Knife, Smartphone and, while I've never had to use it and hope never need it, my keychain CPR mask.

Phone
Keys
Wallet

Knife
Watch

My standard set up. Tried the flashlight too, but I didn't use it much. I still have a couple that I like to carry every now and then.

My knife, wallet, and keys.
On my keyring I carry a remix eo1, a Vic Classic, and 1 round of .38 special in addition to multiple vehicle, house, and toolbox keys.
I also keep chap stick, a third knife, and a pouch of red man on me usually.
An overlooked but essential piece of EDC gear for me is my belt, always wear one and cannot stand to wear pants without it.
Hahaha +1 on the belt comment can't stand it when I forget to wear one as a beat minimum knife I have a leatherman micra along with my truck keys and a wallet and HTC one. And I usually ad the zt 350 and a mini bic just for redundancy

EDC Knife. ZT 301 lately.
Zippo
A beater EDC. A Delica lately.
My phone get an honorable mention.

knife, lighter, photo of your loved ones. phone comes in next and can have the pictures but may not work in rough times. Just think, if things go bad the people you may never see again and never get a chance to get another picture of. memories can keep you motivated to live and succeed. Motivation determination drive

Of course if I have a phone instead of just a picture, I can just call my loved ones and tell them to get me the hell out of there if things go bad.

Why isn't there a facepalm emoticon... but seriously a valid point in day to day life. I do live in nowhere though so cell service can be very sparse at times. especially when im woods bumming often there is none.

Edit: also would help if I kept an active cell service plan.. just not much a fan of cell phones and only get a prepaid one when I do need one as I just don't use them that often. been without now for almost a year, Still use my Iphone as an ipod though... kinda silly I guess.

1. Knife: Small Sebenza Insingo or Skyline 2. Phone (iPhone 4s) 3. Pocket tool/widget: Atwood 3V ghost

For me with my jobs being a full time student and working in the environment I work in the three things I generally always have are as follows: a pocket knife which lately has been my small Sebenza Insingo or a skyline, my phone: this is indispensable as I use it for all the normal phone functions plus it is a handy study tool using dropbox/bblearn apps, finally I always have a widget of some sort to fidget with: lately it has been an Atwood 3V Ghost pocket tool. There are many other things that I carry on a daily basis but if I had to cut my pocket carry down to three items those would be it.
