Three Most Important Items in Your EDC

My away-from-home EDC :: (ignoring the mandatory clothes and keys - can't leave without them)
Wallet
Phone
Standard knives - paired Kabar fixed blades, paired Buck folders, BK11

Around the farm EDC ::
Farm keys
Kabar 1219C2, BK9, paired Buck folders
.357 S&W loaded w/ 2 rounds of rat shot followed by 4 HPs.

Edc on me: Folding knife, multi tool, and a watch. A lot more than that but those are the most important.

If it's an emergency I will grab my keys (which has a SAK w/light and pen, a Gerber Shard pry bar, and RE Factor paracord survival kit key fob), my wallet (military ID goes a long way in the ER), and my smart phone (lots of capabilities including quick access to light and Google search).

I've been to the ER twice in the past month so I got the system down... One of the times due to a knife review for my YouTube channel gone wrong! Lol!

If I'm around the house I keep a Spyderco Dragonfly 2, Thrunite T-10, and my Galaxy 4 in my gym shorts.

Well in reality, it would be eyeglasses, wallet, and keys. With those three I can see, go to and from work, and buy things. Everything else is just gravy. :)

Beyond that, I'd say a flashlight, multipurpose pocket knife (Victorinox SAK) and modern smartphone. If you don't want to include the phone in the three, then a small multitool.

Tough choices, I would guess on a normal day the three most important would be firearm, wallet and Phone. Though not having at least a leatherman and small flashlight would make me feel less than prepared.

If we exclude the Universal 3 (phone, wallet, keys), then:

- Wenger Esquire
- Fisher Space Pen Bullet
- folder (I rotate 3, though I typically carry my ZT 0566 to work)

I like a two blade system. The blade on the Esquire is my tape buster and scraper so my main blade doesn't get tape gunk on it. This keeps drag down when I put it through cardboard or other material.

The pen gets a LOT of mileage, and it's actually my back up at work. While I'm at work, I most commonly use a Parker Jotter. The Bullet still manages to get used multiple times each day.

S&W .38spl revolver, a pocketknife, and my watch. I can leave the phone and not miss it.

DDR... HDS... Rolex

Have you ever found that 4 knives is just not enough?

Is this your car?
