my 870 with extension my beretta 92 fs with laser grips and my new bark river bravo 1 works for me my kids and friends have better eyes than i do they can use my other guns to help me 
If I lucky enough to and had the ammo for: HK G36C--sexiest and most slick rifle IMO.
But realistically,

Of course, my housemate said we'd make a stand in the hallway, he gets the gun while i get the bow while our third housemate prays for ex deus machina--then once all readily immediate ammo is depleted, we fall back into my room--bolt the door and take all the melee weapons off the wall and prepare to escape from the roof.
We've discussed this before--i wonder how they would react if i said we were going to rehearse it like fire drills back in elementary

I am growing ever more envious of all you folk that do not have to live under the yoke of (ever more increasing!!!) stupid,ill considered,absurd,draconian gun laws!However,one of the household menagerie is 75KG english mastiff bitch,that,whilst she is a beautiful affectionate (smells awful,and slobbers over every one and thing) family pet, is also supremely mistrustful of strangers and given her size, power and attitude must also be considered a lethal weapon.Unless an intruder is seriously armed,I would consider his life expectancy to be something under thirty seconds,a rather unpleasant thirty seconds,at that. So, if its OK with you guys, can I have 4 weapons?

Why on earth would you need four weapons if one is a 75 Kg Mastiff?

Oh I agree wholeheartedly but the limit after all was three weapons.
When I had my four Airedales I considered them my first line of defense and actually probably all I would need unless there was more than one intruder and then I figured a little help from Mr. 12 Gauge might be handy.:thumbup:

I think I'd carry a:
M1A or M1 Garand for the rifle.
Suppressed Ruger .22 Semi pistol.
15" BAS that Bura made before he got sick. (Still the best "balanced" khukuri I own!) I have lots of other knives I could pick from (ie. Chris Reeves Shadow V) but...this is a Khukuri site.
