Thrifty Thursday... Cheap Traditional Knives

I haven't carried mine very much, so I haven't noticed any paint problems yet.
I think RR has some aluminum handle knives with a jigged or crinkly texture. Do you have any idea how the paint holds up on those?

The crinkled one I have seems anodized and not painted. It holds up much better.

Here's a large (4" closed) yellow synthetic Rough Rider stockman with carbon steel blades I got myself for Christmas. I'm not a fan of square bolsters, but I thought I should have a big carbon steel stockman and I wasn't finding many with round bolsters. This one fits my knife budget better than a Case 6375. It also cuts up an apple better than almost any knife I have (except Opinel) because the blades are so thin.
