Thrifty Thursday... Cheap Traditional Knives

I can't remember whether I've posted this one here or not. I've given away my other Rough Ryder small stockmans but hung onto this one. (No imitation tortoises were harmed in the manufacture of this knife.)

This thrifty duo has handled all my mundane cutting tasks this week, outside of the kitchen, at least, and one or the other has been with me when I have ventured out from my home. I don’t think I have participated in choosing a KOTY here in the past, but this year the little blue Ideal seems to be on my person more than any other knife. We’ll see what the next 7 months bring…
 
I’m dropping these here for oldmanwilly oldmanwilly . Sorry you had a bad experience with yours - I love mine, particularly the friction folders. Very sharp and slicey, and surprisingly robust considering the materials. These are the largest versions available. The olive wood handle shown here is my own creation.

I'm glad yours work for you, that wooden handle is a real looker!
