Nice Half-Hawk!
I used mine just like yours to cut up apple, muskmelon, honeydew melon, and grapes for my breakfast cereal this morning. And this evening, I used it to cut up zucchini, cauliflower, green and yellow bell peppers to add to my leftover vegetable stew.

I love the Marbles knives. I own several and have been pleased with all of them so far. I really like their version of the demo knife, if they would just ditch the match strike nail nicks it would be perfection.

Just think, had you won the lottery and quit working you'd have never got that great Gerber. It all worked out for the best.

At least they omitted "CAN OPENER" on that particular blade.

(my guess is the officers (that didn't work their way up from Private) from the lowest to highest rank, needed a reminder of what that strange looking blade is for.)
