Nice knife, but doesn't look like a toothpick to me. Looks like a Corsican vendetta pattern.2 3/4” “Fisherman’s Toothpick” - all SS, less than 1/4” thick. $2.99 (plus tax). Really disappears in the pocket.

Me too! My next purchase I am saving up for is a vendetta. You're right, of course. I was just quoting what it said on the blade. (You'll notice I put "Fisherman's Toothpick" in quotation marks.) I knew it isn't a classic toothpick , but I didn't know what it really is until Jack Black educated me about the vendetta in the Totin thread. I know very little about European knives. That's one of the things I like about this Forum - I'm always learning something new. For what it's worth, I actually like the pattern better than the classic toothpick.
The 303 in black or dymondwood is still in Buck's line up and widely available. My take on it: tough, inexpensive, low maintenance and sharp. Too bad they're discontinued.

Alan, nice pair of knives!
I've long admired those knives, Will!I can't quote a price because I've forgotten itbut not a lot when available
more than a Markka though....
Bubinga wood, carbon leaf blade and stainless liners/backspring, a very good combination.

Thanks Gary. First off they make for an excellent pair for just a bit over $20. The RR feels perfect in my hand. I tend to use trappers of this size (about 4") for food prep or in place of a dinner knife (occasionally). The 's' shape aids in slicing motions.Alan, nice pair of knives! What's your impression of that "swaybelly" handle on the Rough Ryder?
