Ti and ZDP Leek

I've been lurking around here for years, but this reason enough to finally say something.

Fine. You can all have a ZDP Cyclone. No arugments. Great idea.
But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE save a little of that steel for a Spec-Bump!!
I know you agree Thomas, as you have one ;-) Share the joy ;-)

(ZDP is enough, but now I'm asking for my dream. Please consider some other holes to move that clip about)

dellul, welcome to the forums!! My ZDP clad SB is a real sweetheart, I'll put a vote down on a ZDP Bump for you. Dreams do come true dellul, keep the faith.

Well I started pushing for Cyclon - it is kind of Leek but bigger. However I like SpecBump with ZDP also (ZBump) - put it as my second choise.

Actually as I remember it was promiced by Tomas that Kershaw will produce SpecBumps runs with different steels. So far it is CPM154, Sandvic 13C26 and CPM S30V. Hottest steel today - ZDP189 kind of good next choise I guess...

I have to admit that SpecBump is pumped already with all Kershaw greatest assets - like SpeedSafe and StudLock. It is really top model and deserve to have top steel. It will be also good to have swithable SS on it

Thanks, Vassili.

I’d be up for a ZDP Spec Bump. I really like the looks of the Bump profile for EDC. It would only become more preferred with a long lasting edge like that.

Great!!! Maybe we can call it the dellul signature model, assuming you don't want your own name on it Thomas ;)

Your statement just cost Benchmade a sale :D

Hi Thomas,
I love the Leek design, and I am very excited about a Titanum framelock handle version, however, I'm not too keen on ZDP-189 due to the difficulty of sharpening on ceramic rods. Any chance for other Leek versions that keep the Ti handles? I personally would prefer an S30v one, or even potentially an H-1 based one at a slightly lower pricepoint. A Leek with Ti handles and H1 steel would be entirely corrosion-proof (outside of the spring)!

It's been a couple of months now of dreaming for me ;-)
Are my dreams close to reality yet?

I couldn't wait any longer. My s30v bump arrived a couple of days ago. I'm even more impressed with the knife than I thought I'd be. I've adapted to the clip position and don't mind it in my left or right pocket. Keep up the great work and thanks for all that you are doing Thomas (Ok, and Ken too!!)
