Ti/Carbon Fiber S90v Military sale

UPS has come and gone. I have collected Spydercos since 1990 and have owned dozens of models. I've also owned possibly hundreds of knives made by other companies. This afternoon I am holding in my hand the finest factory-made folding knife I've ever owned. Thanks to Mr. Glesser and Knife Works for creating this masterpiece.

Exactly this.

I'm glad there is all this peer pressure here lol

@Sal Glesser wanna say thanks again.

Any chance of something like this but in pm2 model with 20cv or vannax or lc200n? Basically just shrink this version and have tip up option. Its so we'll done it's amazing. That detent, the quality, the flickability etc. It's so perfect and really premium.

"Oops I did it again"

This is the first time I have ordered two of the same make and model. I cannot imaging a better Military, so I broke down and ordered a backup. One for EDC and one waiting in the wings if I need.

This is an AWESOME knife. If you have not ordered one, don't wait.

yeah, the one I recieved is starting out with late lockup, like I said around 65%. Kinda bummed, probly not going to be an issue, but I might order another and request early lockup and send that one back.

It's got a steel insert, so (1) it's not going to wear much and (2) it's easily serviceable if it does.

It’s all about that tip down...

Fixable.

Now that's some damn fine CQI. I am going to give that a try. The only thing keeping the Military from being the perfect knive is the one position clip.
Works like a charm. The lanyard tube provides a surface for the T-Nut and pocketclip to bottom out on, so you can get it tight enough the clip won't rotate unless the force is enough that would typically bend the clip. Instead it rotates, and can be simply put back to desired angle, rather than damage the clip. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my tip up Mili.

hi all,

I just ordered one and thinking to order another with "Engraving" on it to my friend.

Does anyone know how it looks? I searched on YouTube and seems no info.
Also, I want to have multi-lines being 1st line is a quote, and 2nd line is my name. is it possible?

Thanks for any input

Why don't you call or email Knifeworks? That way you get a definitive answer from the source.

If possible, can you elaborate? The Millie only just became my favorite about a year or two ago, and I can come to my own opinions after use, I’d just like to know what others (especially long time users) think about this model!

I ordered and received one too, this knife is so beautiful, its amazing. This is my first military and digging it. My photobucket account seems to be not cooperating otherwise I would post a picture.

Photobucket??? Lol. Didn’t you hear what happened??? O_o They’re now known as PhotoSuckIt (or worse, use your imagination...)

Does anyone have any idea how many of these were made? I’m on the fence still. Usually when I buy a knife it has to hit ALL the right notes for me. I had an m4 military and even though I hated the clip position.. the sheer size and look of the blade was so unique and beautiful that I still carried it more than my pm2 or manix 2. Is an RIL lock pretty rare on spydercos? Could I change out the carbon side with my own g10 slab? Back spacer compatible?

Someone talk me into one. Or out of one. I’m on the fence and need to decide before it’s too late lol.

LOL, i didn't know but i just looked it up....wtf. so how do i post a photo now? thanks for the help.

Go here---> https://www.knifeworks.com/spyderco...ith-r-i-l-lock-s90v-knifeworks-exclusive.html
then go all the way to the bottom under Details and you will see it says: 1200 Piece Run

Buying as a possible future collectable?? It'll probably eventually happen but you might be waiting awhile. 1200 is not a small number and the Millie is not nearly as popular as the PM2. The Cruwear Military was 1200 pieces and has just lately started to rise in price..nearly 5 years after release.

Having said that I bought 2 of these myself, one to use and one as a backup/possible future collectable. Its a fantastic piece. Imo the best Millie ever made and one of the best deals going for the money. Would have kicked myself if I had missed out on this..especially at this price.
