Ti/Carbon Fiber S90v Military sale

Out of curiosity, I called and was told there are around 150 left........so it doesn't appear they are flying off the shelves at the $199.95 price.

Maybe there were 500 left and this price really increased sales, but I wonder if they would drop the price any more, or if this is it.

One less as of 24 minutes ago. You guys are evil.

Thanks guys you just cost me $200

In seriousness I am glad I saw this. Will be my first Millie. Have a 390 PM2 but no millie

I used to own the 204P version which you seem to love. The steel was superb on that one but after pocketing and handling the CF/Ti version incorporating the R.I.L system, every other Millie which I had previously owned either seemed too dainty (G10 scales) or a tad too heavy with less superior steel (all Ti Millie). For my purposes, I found this particular version to be a perfect balance between weight, heft and performance. I'm pretty certain that you will also love this model :)

If the size of the blade is not any objection, this is the best folder sub $200 which money can buy. Those who are currently procrastinating for whatever their reasons will be regretful when this is all gone because it seems to me that KW is just holing it at this price point to just sell out whatever Qty is left.

I collect all military’s, out of all my knives the military may be my favorite edc. I just bough a mint S90V blade that a guy replace with a 204 and the S90 is going in my QCI fluted.

Yeah, I think you are right. This S90V Ti/CF looks like it may arrive the same day another knife should delivered, a hand made that lists well over $1700. And yet I think I'm more anxious to get the Mili.

This is really nitpicking but has anyone noticed that the grind lines on the blade of this millie model seem to be a bit deeper or inconsistent than on other models (204p, ti, fluted ti)? Under the light, the reflection on the blade is also not as consistent. Maybe it has sth to do with the s90v steel?

Of course my sample is very small (2) so I could be very wrong.

LOL Yea i said the same thing the other week. I have carried it almost every day since it arrived when the pants allowed for it (some dress pants have small pockets).

Most likely the steel, you don’t see Marfione doing HS or HP on “super steels”.

Damn, I got a few scratches on the Ti side from my keys. This may force me to buy a second. Ha ha
hopefully since im a lefty my rings won't be able to reach the ti side. i agree you should get a second to keep pristine.;)
then again i can't talk since i only got one.. pretty new to milies but im stoaked to try this one.

If you like the model, KW has the same blade steel (204p)as your pm2 for $179 now, though it might drop $20-39 like this model did unexpectedly. S90v is a lot harder to sharpen than 390, but it will cut longer. Some experts I have read here suggest sharpening to a lower grit. I too owned a pm2 first, but once I tried the Millie I never looked back. I have 8 or 9 different versions now, and several backups for several versions. And I use all of them(except the backups).

Surprised they aren’t sold out yet.
Maybe the large number made, 1200, and not being a PM2 put off the collectors and the high $279 initial starting price put off a lot of other people? I'm not surprised these aren't sold out.

If they keep them at this price though I believe they wont last much longer. Look at how many people have bought multiples on this thread alone since they went to $199, I'm also guilty of that, bought 2, too good a deal to pass up.

The fact they are blowing these out at such a low price makes me 99.99% positive that when these are sold out KW's will not do another run. Asked them for 2 or 3 years do another run of the Ti/G10 M4 Military and always got the same response "Not Going To Happen" so I gave up on it.

If anyone's on the fence about getting one, well, now's the time. IMO At this price its one of of the best, if not the best Military we will ever see.

I can’t put mine down! The geometry between the lockbar/Blade tang is great.
