Time For a Positive Thread!!!

Looks like lots of great positive use! :)

I have this small herd of deer that hang out up here on the hill with us. I made the mistake of cutting up an apple and tossing it out to them one day.

I pull in today, and as soon as they see the door open on the rig, they amble over into the yard next to the garage.

So I grab a couple apples from the back porch (Which I have purchased for this purpose) and give the ol' HK Mini Axis a short outing.

At least they stop eating the maple trees for a spell.

Reminds me of the squirrel by my dad's house.
The thing practically stalks him; runs up on the porch waiting for its two peanuts.
Give it one, and it stands there looking at you waiting for the next one. :D

I used my Spyderco Slysz to cut open a bag of stocking stuffer candy, trimming a lanyard on another knife, and digging the dirt out from under my fingernails.

I used my Victorinox Cadet to open a can of chocolate sauce for my mother in law to make hot chocolate. 😊

Good Idea StabMan!

I used my Grohmann #4 to cut wrapping paper, and tape, to wrap up a Hot wheels monster truck for
a little guy across the road.

You are often a voice of reason StabMan! Well done!
Merry Christmas to you & yours eh!

Today's carry was the Elmax Para2.
We're in the process of moving to our new house so I've been cutting tape for packaging and breaking down all the old cardboard boxes to go in the rubbish skip. Couple of times I cut the top off a much needed coffee sachet and buttered a few bread rolls with the Para2 as all the kitchen knives are packed up.

Nice thread

Great thread Stabby!
Doing an office make over for a perfume plant.
I completely dulled 3 knives trimming flex duct while moving supply grills. Never realized how bad insulation is for sharp edges!! S35vn Native didn't make it through the 3rd cut! Serrated Pac Salt lasted longer, but wasn't making clean cuts. The blade that hung in there the longest was the s110v Para 2.........I am in for a very long sharpening session!!!
Merry Christmas to my fellow blade nuts!!

Merry Christmas. I can't wait to open my Medford praetorian vulacan finish with 3 v I bought from a awesome guy on BF.

I know some people aren't into Medford because of the size, but from what I've seen he is a excellent knife maker. And I wanted to try some of his work.

Used my Shirogorov Hati to cut cardboard boxes after assembling some furniture, open my wife packages from victoria secret(some nice stuff inside :D),cut few avocados for salad and also tried getting giblets out of a frozen turkey..did not work.I guess I have to cook turkey first a little then try again.
Happy hollidays everyone!

Spyderco southard for boxes, wrapping paper and tape. Also used it to open a new bag of salt to put down so the postman doesn't slip on my driveway/sidewalk. I keep going back and forth about which one I want to use for Christmas day. I''m leaning towards my BBS Domino currently. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

I used my Benchmade Adamas and Victorinox Swisstool to cut and splice a water line and then the Adamas to cut twine and net wrap on hay bales so they could be unrolled. Cows gotta eat and drink.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season!

I used my ZT 801 to cut some twine to tie up a couple prime rib roasts that went in the oven at 10am. Serving slabs today and sandwiches tomorrow.
Merry Christmas

Cut up some food, opened beer boxes and wine-bottle cartons, veggies, fruit, some meat and many wrappings, flour bags, sugar bags and stuff with these!

It should certainly be solid enough. I say try carving up the Christmas turkey or ham with it. :)
That would be a great Christmas knife use picture for sure.

Today the Viper Fortis opened the vast quantity of presents that my mother in law had inexplicably wrapped in tape as though they were all mummies.

Played around with Spyderco milli today cutting limes and lemons to make fresh squeezed Limon soda to go with lunch.

I used my Protech Runt to open a package, that had my Seamus Knives Uber Crossover.
