Time for the 2011 Blade Show Pics (Including Blade Booty)

Elliot, Thank you Sir... Meeting you and the others was one of the best things about being down there! I hated to see the time go by so fast! Can't wait til next year!!!
Thanks for the kind words... Means a lot!

This one's going to the Holy Land. The pic is hijacked from Vince's thread. I can't get to Blade, but these forums do help me make sure that i get a little satisfaction. Thanks to Vince, and of course thanks Dan.

I was wondering who was the lucky one. The scalpel blade is very cool!

...This knife by Ken is something else. ...Mike Zscherny really nailed this one too...Enrique Pena ...Kerry...

Nice haul!

It was an awesome time for sure! Great knives, Even better people... Nice to put
faces with the people you chat with..
Picked-up a few nice knives... post some pic's tomorrow.
Thanks to all.....

Jason

You did pick up some nice ones...now quit slacking and get those pictures up. :p

It certainly was great time and I enjoyed meeting so many BF members....and the knives....geez. I almost slipped in to a knife-coma the first couple of hours.

It was great seeing everybody at the show. Blade is always such a wonderful place for freinds and knives to meet!

I brought home this ivory Euro off of Jerry's table. It is a great carry size. Plus, a comfortable pattern. This is now one of my favorite Halfrich folders.

It was a pleasure to see John Lloyd bring some of his many carbon steel slipjoints he has made to sell along side of his stag business. To date, he has given his folders to kids with parental permission. I think he is ready to enter the 'for sale' market! Here is John's busy table and the one I ended up with.

So much to see at this show. Thanks for starting the thread, Campbell. Hope to see more posts.

Gus' knife is so very nice that I tried desperately to find a way to convince him it wasn't up to his standards. ;)

When Steven won the Bose backpocket it was proof positive that there's still a place for karma in the world.

I have to agree with Steven. That knife is all goodness. It was another one that Ken nailed in all aspects. I am still in awe of how he got all three of those blades in such a small and smooth package. Also am in awe of the subtle curve of the master blade. To top it off the color and jigging of the bone is quite exceptional.

Mazal Tov, Steven!
post a pic, please....

It was another great show! Pity it's so short as there are so many people to try and catch up with.

I pitched another shut-out in all the drawings. Should be getting a call up to the big leagues soon! Maybe the Diamondbacks need a shut-out pitcher! LOL

I was able to get a sweet little baby rounder from Jerry Halfrich in micarta and a beautiful ebony coke bottle from Brett Dowell. Pictures once the Fedex man gets them here.
I also picked up a couple deliveries - a serpentine trapper from Tom Overeynder and a timascus scaled doctor knife from Tom Ferry.

And, after getting outbid in a silent auction that wasn't really silent (no more comments on that now - I'm too hacked off yet), I was able to grab an amazing dogleg jack in stag. Says something like 'T Bose' on the tang. :)

Holy Smokes! Look at 'em eyes! A couple of Sith Lords seething with the dark side of the Force!

Yep, nothing makes you more photogenic than two nights without sleep (my dog's been ill) and some bourbon to help wash it all down.

I've got some pic's of some knives and some of a few guys who made my
first BLADE show a great time... Don't have pic's of all the guys I saw, But
every single one of them were wonderful people! Doesn't get much better than
the folks who are on the forum... Thanks to everybody!

1st pic. Rick and Vince

2nd pic. Rick and Vince and Scott

3rd pic. Vince, Bret, Rick, Scott, Rocky Menefee( makes a helluva Fixed blade)
and myself......

Thanks
Jason
