Starting to look into light/laser combos for my pistol. Anyone got thoughts or suggestions?

Elmax holds an edge forever, even after I reprofiled it to something a little less....obtuse (really my only issue with factory spec). Can be had used for substantially less than the 0562 and even tho it's a big folder, it rides pretty discreetly with the lowrider clip. I have a couple 0350's and an 0200; the 0560 just kills it, IMO, without being crazy money. I also like the 3D sculpted handle vs. the flat scales. And it's daizee approved - he flipped it a couple dozen times at the fall Gathering, big smile on his face the whole time.

After looking a bit more I'm almost totally settled on a 0560. Thanks, guys.

At first it was a bucking-the-trend kind of thing, I don't need no stinking number to be a fan. At this point I'm holding out for a specific number and it's a bit of a ways off. And if I join the Ka-Bar Krew I'd want the same number.
 
0561 is my favorite ZT folder by looks alone.

I had a first gen 0550 for a very short time, i loved the design and feel of the knife but it was difficult for me to open with my thumb so i sold or traded it (cant remember which now) ...It could of just needed broken in, or a bolt loosened or something, i honestly didnt give it a fair shake. I never do with folders really.

If i was gunna buy a ZT though it would be the 0180.. Vanadis 4E steel with tungsten DLC.. I think its a great looking blade, and that steel is very hard to beat. I wants it.

Ka-Bar Krew: 62 posts in the Kabar subforum, 3 threads started, but not sure if they'll count as "interesting", and I can't believe I don't have a picture of my Kabar folder! (at least I still have (and have a picture of) the 1217 Dubz gave me along with the tub of yummy cookies a while back!)
 
I need one more thread started in the Ka-bar subforum myself. Id like to make it reviewing the parangatang if i can get out for a few hours before too long. If not ill figure something else out...

Speaking of that i really really need a new sheath for that blade. Especially with the new scales, it just deserves better than what it has.

Why not just do the review in your, erm, shop and see how well it cuts through scrollsaw. You know, after you cut some other shtuff for a warmup ;).

Vik, anything made by Ka-Bar counts. Last I checked, Beckers are still being made by Ka-Bar. I think you'll be fine. :p

well, if you're SURE, -- I wouldn't want folks to think being a member of the KBK is the same as being a beckerhead.
maybe I'll have time this weekend to clear some brush with the Parangatang & get some pictures of it in repose among the destruction.
