This thread is getting closer to completion... Looking back for the snarkiest snarks and there isnt a while lot of snarking each other this go around... So far Guyon stinking up the the continent of the Americas is some of the funniest stuff, and its not really snarking...

We need to pick it up, id hate to run a RNG.

Hurt feelings, crush spirits, and make the other 'heads your -BEEP-.

:D

We all conspired and promised not to snark too heavily just to confound you. :D

This is believable!!

What are the bits called that cut larger circular holes in wood?? I dont see too many 3/4" or 1" drill bits.... But i need to cut 1- 1" circle and 6- 3/4" circles into a piece of wood about 5-6" in diameter and maybe 1" thick.

Thanks for the info... I know i have seen them, just cant think of what they hell they are called.

Are you looking for a spade bit, boring bit, or a hole saw?

Spade, thats it!! Thanks brother!!

Hole saws are more accurate than spade bits (also more expensive) but in between the two there would be forstner bits and augers. Geeked out on hole making implements, I am.

*Light bulb* Forstner bits! That was the other one I was searching for in my head. Boring bit was all that came to mind.

Thanks for the info brother!!

Im just wanting to make a basic stand, but now that i re-check it its not 1", its about 1.2".... So ill prolly need a 1.25" spade bit and a 3/4" spade bit.

This is the idea.. Pretty basic... Just need to get the bits for the holes.
