Thanks man! It was damn crazy. Cant wait to move from here. Tonight my wife is sleeping in our son's bed because glass is on our bed and everywhere else too. There are small pieces of glass 15 feet away from the window. I only noticed some on the bed and directly around the window, but when the cop shined his light you could see small glass fragments everywhere.

Im super happy my family is safe... But pissed it happened.

Glad to hear everyone is safe.

I'm probably one of a dozen people in the United States that doesn't like Thin Mints. I do love the Tagalongs (or peanut butter/chocolate thingies, not sure of the new name) and the Do-Si-Do's (peanut butter and oatmeal). Just need a tall glass of milk and I'm set for a snack.

I dont like the thin mints either. I don't mind mint gum, toothpaste, mouthwash, etc, but leave it outta my food.

Eating chocolate chili with pita chips as a spoon, and drinking a Caribbean rum and coke

I think the last girl scout cookies I bought was 12 - 15 years ago when my niece was selling them. Never really liked any of them.

That does sound good.

Also, rockin' the new KREW sig. Word.

Our direct next door neighbors were just fighting, i walked outside to see what was going on, soon as i opened the door one guy fired his gun... The slug went through my bedroom window, through a stuffed animal and into my knife case where the slug stopped. Glass is all over our bed. The 45 cal. slug is intact in my knife case now.. The police officer left it there and said not to move it as a detective is coming to take more pictures.

2 men arrested... We were shook up pretty good.

I have pictures ill share soon as well.

Philadelphia is bullshit.

i'm sorry your stuffed animal is butt hurt. perhaps a funny repair project is in order? a halo? Xs for eyes? a scar? bit of red thread? :D

glad y'all are okay though...

your neighbors are ... 'tards?

what's that phrase again?
oh, yeah - IBTL!!
and I bought my threading tools at farbor hreight -- was the same ones at rockler & woodcraft for 1/2 the $$$ at the time.

Planning a road trip with some friends around the Grand Canyon in September, 10 days and 2500 miles. Hitting Arches National Park, Canyonlands NP, Monument valley, north and south rims of the Grand Canyon, Hoover dam, Las Vegas, Zion NP, Bryce canyon NP, and Capitol Reef NP. It's gonna be truly epic.

Alcohol, girl scout cookies, shots fired through stuffed animals, sounds like everyone had a solid St. Pat's!

Damn.

apparently they don't sell them any more.

bummer. perhaps ePrey. what is the wording? just harbor freight wood threaders?

those german ones are NICE...

my tax return should be good. table saw and misc tools covered. plus some to set aside.

budget budget budget... the rest is going to be wood costs :D

oh, and sheesh. might need a lathe in a year or three :D

grizzly sells low-ish cost sets.
on the lathe front -- midi-lathes, especially with the bed extender are pretty handy for little stuff. I've had good luck with Delta and Rikon.
I need to get power to my shop so I can set up my full size model, though.
