Tip damage from "over closing" Buck 110??

First time poster.

Can I say that I bought 2 Buck 110 and between the 2 they have very small marks where the blade hits when closing near the tip of the blade.
Mine were from Copper & Clad via Amazon.

Maybe I'm being way too crazy about looking over this blade. What do you guys think. I know I'm going to mess this guy up once I get to cutting but I want to make sure the blade will hold up.

Welcome to the forum, Hands. This used to drive me nuts until I cut a tiny piece of rubber gasket material and shoved it inside my 112 where the blade used to hit. It stays in place by friction and it has enough give that the blade never actually cuts it. Yeah, it sounds kind of silly, but it works and it's virtually unnoticeable.

I tried to use some tape but I did not think about using a gasket. I might have to do this.

EDIT: A match cut to a small part and then wrapped in (textured) tape shoved into the back end of the knife is perfect for now.
I'll need to replace it when it in time but it took all of a couple minutes to make.
