Please enter me for Gary
5K Qs
, and thanks, Dylan for an entertaining GAW.
Belated thanks for the nomination,
@Henry Beige!

I hadn't looked at this thread for a couple of weeks, and totally missed your thoughtful entry on my behalf.
Congrats on the posting milestone, Dylan!

And thanks for the very generous GAW to commemorate the occasion!

Your knives and photos thereof are always superb (although you often make it tough on a guy who gave up cigars Christmas Eve 2014

).
I usually pass up the GAWs featuring a GEC for the prize, since I think there are lots of folks here who would appreciate GECs much more than I probably would. But if we can enter for someone else, that's a different story!

I'd like to enter the GAW for
@cigarrodog: the GAW is about photos, and he's a guy whose photos I always admire!
Here's the first pic I posted on The Porch (I think; there are a couple of similar pics on my computer and I don't recall which were actually posted
ETA: turns out this was the second pic I ever posted on BF), followed by my most recent photo of the same knife:

That first pic was taken by the built-in camera on an iMac I had at the time, I think.
ETA: the computer I used for the pic was actually a MacBook laptop I soon started using an old point-and-shoot Canon that my wife has, and that's still the camera I use 6 years later.
The Colonial Forest-Master featured in the 2 pics above is the first knife I ever owned; I've had it since about 1960. It was essentially the ONLY knife I owned until 2014. Two of my most recent 3 purchases were an Imperial Kamp King purchased at an antique/consignment shop just before coronavirus hit the fan in early March and an Imperial Scout that I found at a resale shop while I was on vacation last month. My knife tastes have certainly broadened since joining BF, but I still love me a good scout knife!
Thanks again for the fun and generous GAW, Dylan, and best wishes to all the entrants!
