To SNARK or not to SNARK (Chat Thread)

Looks like I'm finally getting my refund after chronic bitching at buy.com....I'm by far not a complainer, but after getting the run around by two customer service reps and being put on hold for an hour to be told to "call back" I got a little pissed...got this in the email this afternoon...guess I'll believe it when I see it..

I responded telling him that my criticism of the company was not an attempt of getting something for free..and if he was really sending me my order than I would gladly pay for the goods at the agreed price...but Alas, I can't seem to get the order number to pull up in their tracking service...So I guess we will see....
 
Ya know what this place needs? More BH water-bottles! Any official, or unofficial (heck anyone wanna start a rumor even) about when/if these will be available to the masses? I will put a pre-order in on one rights now lol

I gotta poke the 'Ol Man about it, but all we are waiting on is the money system to get done, and we, are in, business.

I heard that for beckerheads, when you order your tweener from Ka-Bar directly, they are going to do a LE version the sheath attaches TO the water bottles!

I got two cupholders in my new truck that I've been reserving for those bottles for far too long now.

that reminds me, I had an idea

How about a Stickied Swag/Gear thread? a place to post up our new stuff...things we dont want a thread for but would like to ''gloat/flaunt'' about. Wld free up the Chat some, and people cld do mini-reviews and post pics. I for one like to see new gear, Sometimes I never knew stuff existed till I see someone post it up
 
I need a new camp shovel....thinking that cold steel one. Might be too much shovel for me since I wont be chopping frozen cow in half. i have a military issue etool, but that damn thing is heavy.

I have a military shovel as well. It's far too heavy.
 
I keep a small shovel in my truck, just a short gardening spade, maybe 30'' long. Comes in handy every once inna while. Never cared for the ''entrenching'' shovels. too little to be much use IMO.

Negative, hit the gym more little fella. The etool is one of the pieces of gear I do not compromise on. I loved that thing in the Corps. My gf gives me hell for packing on every trip, but she doesn't understand it's full potential.

I'm talking too heavy for my backpack. I have one of those German fold up jobbies. Not sure how much it weighs, but she's solid.
