Hi all,brand new to this,but would love to make a folding knife,trouble is I don't know where to scourse materials,(uk) would like to know what size and material of fixing pins,if you call them pins?brass,stainless? and diameter,also blade material,pros and cons.Im a fitter /welder by trade so I do have some transferable skills.Thanks,Simon.

Welcome Simon, you might be better off looking over at some of the makers that do folders. Check out the hosted knife makes forum, I know REK Knives does some frame locks.
