To the Makers of Things, Show us what you do!

congratulations!
Thank you sir!!

What a spread, a lot of talent in those pictures Dave. I'd never heard of a shotski either.

I'm sure it'll be fine.

Another new deal they do is before the service. Its called the "First Look." So in front of the wedding party and parents the bride and groom say their vows to each other. this is bout a half hour before the ceremony so she's in the dress and everything. How they did it was Dave the groom was standing at the mouth of Hog canyon talking with his sister Ashley and the bride walks up behind them and taps him on the shoulder and they embrace and Ashley walks back to join us some distance away maybe fifty yards. Kinda cool I guess. I'd not heard of a First Look before but guess its a deal like the shotski. Here's something else ya'd like. This is the groom coming in with his parents at the ceremony. To keep all the Dave's straight around this outfit, his dad is Big Dave, I'm Dave and the groom is David Eugene. Look close at David Eugene's boutonniere.

All the boutonnieres were built on .45-70 empty cases. Heck never did get em back.

Damn Dave, that looks like a Helluva party and great time there.

Yes sir we had quite a few folks tell us it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. This is the groom's sister Ashely, she was ready to party:

I always tease her about being a pin up girl on my beer fridge in the shop. Here is my son Logan and his wife Katie:

Kinda small town stuff but when Ashley and Logan were six they played on the same Tball team. Big Dave was the coach and I was the assistant coach. Must of been good coaches cause Ashley went on a full ride at a Div 1 school in softball. She's a Deputy down south these days. I still have the team picture from some 24ish years ago on my beer fridge. That's why she's a pinup girl on the fridge. The brand on Logan's hat is read a s a Flying W over eleven. Otherwise known as the "booby brand." That brand and ranch belongs to his nephew. Nichole wasn't real keen on him wearing that hat at the wedding but he and Katie had flown in for the wedding and thats what he brought. As a working cowboy, his regular hat was in no state for a wedding. Eventually he just picked up Nichole and took her over to the keg for a keg stand:

She is like that robot I'm making parts for.

Been a busy week in the shop. Finished the second board up and made a custom sized cabinet for a buddy that's re-doing his kitchen.

^^^^ What John said! That cutting board is WOW!

Those are spectacular Scott. That Amboyna sure smells funny don't it? Reminds me of some kind of spice or something.
