Personally regardless of differences of opinion those chinese put on a damn good parade. pretty cool incorporated audio, wireless, mobile, bullet proof transport that fella is running allong side a very tight formation. i'm still not to sure where that blue camo would blend. i heard the chinese people were asked to stay indoors and very few (few=11million) select individuals were allowed to veiw in person, i guess they didnt want riots or a chance of? funny how the delegates had this look on their faces like wtf i could be doing something not in the sun in this suit. the skill filming this parade is also something to be desired by many movie producers. oh and the all female squadrons.......nice......as excited i was i believe the pres was more excited :p

Should the trough want to discuss political philosophies, there are appropriate forums on BladeForums.

P.S. No matter how different some posters think China is, communism in there and dictatorship doesn't really differ from any other seen so far in the world, oppression of freedom, censorship, including internet(!), imprisoning dissidents or simply killing them off. And yes, there is a long way from that to what's in US, even if it's imperfect.

How about imprisoning "red lovers" in the McCarthy time for no reason other than we were afraid of communism, how about american camps for Japanese during WWII, how about imprisoning african americans like the Hurricane because of racism without any proof, how about the movie Milk where he was campaigned against because of his sexual preference, how about the way we treated african americans for 100's of years (like they were property and expendable), how about the fact that we excluded Jewish people for anything and everything in the 1900's. how about the way we butchered millions of native americans for land.

These sound like pretty horrible things that america has done compared to censorship...maybe china is on the way to where we are and we should give them time to get there instead of looking down our noses at them....

freedom for most races only started in the last 50 years in america... only whites had it before that!!

but we can leave that to a political forum for any responses....

Great pics and videos Lachine, and I always appreciate your insight into life in your country. Unlike those replying to you and harassing you, you actually live there, and can provide us a much more realistic picture of life in the PRC, compared to most sources we see.

I will oblige Ken.. I am just defending people getting attacked out of some misguided hate for China...BTW I am not saying the US isnt great. I was born in RI and live in Cali and love it. Its all Ive ever known. Just trying to make the point that you shouldnt act like a "know it all" redneck and spout about the downfalls of another country when we have such a dark history and shady present, no?
