all right im back and scored big. not much for belts but look :D

man thats the smalles 5 dollar i have seen.

yep that is A2 and no my head is normal size. that motor is 3ph and 5HP :) and to think i onley payed $40.00 for the motor and $30.00 for the 100 pounds of A2.
 
You realize you're going to have to start selling us all this stuff before we show up and burn the shop down? ;)

i cant beleve how expensive that a2 is. i called admrial and thay wanted allmost $400.00 for each sheat. o dady. now where can i find an inexspensive controler for my 5hp wash down motor :D
 
o ya the motor is brand new but the fan guard and fan was damaged in shipping. can i remove the fan and use the shaft.
 
I'd find a way to fix the fan, it DOES cool the motor after all...

By the way, have I mentioned that I hate all of you people near good scrap yards recently? :p

the fan is missing most all of its fins. i have a 1.5hp baldor but i need more power with speed control on my belt grinder.
 
the sheet is .25 thick not .125 my bad. each one is 31 pounds :D. water jet out some 2nd Amendments :)
 
You don't know how jealous i am right now. I was shopping for a 2 horse motor for my kmg clone, $ 300. yours is better and A LOT cheaper! I am jealous of the steel too. :grumpy:
 
come visit me and get one, thay had another 5hp for 80 but it wasint water proof :D.

did you see how big that motor is, i dont think it will fit where you wanted to stick it :D. i welcome any one to come visit and we will go shopping.
 
That is sick, I have only seen a 5HP 3PH on a Bader Space Saver, the thing would tear your arm off and throw it 3 counties over without even bogging in the least. Nice score, I smell the most powerful KMG ever LOL :).
 
Check on ebay for a controller. They have them all the time. You will need to get a larger controller if you only have single phase power. Probably at least a 7.5hp rated controller. Good luck. You can probably get a new fan from a motor repair shop. Also a new end. Maybe 25or30$. Good luck get that thing running and lt us know how it runs...

it dwarfs my 1.5 hp baldor. it has a 1.125" shaft. where can i get a pully for that?
