Tom Ploppert knives

Yes Tom makes some very nice knives and he is a very nice guy as well. He has helped me make better knives with helpful hints and constructive feedback.

Thank you for posting all the great pics. He made a stainless feather damascus swing guard for this years blade show that was very nice.

What a treat for the eyes and mind, Kris!! Outstanding work. Love the shop and its cleanliness shows in the knives. Art and precision, coupled.

Back to stare at them some more! I even like the understated tang stamp.

Glad everyone is enjoying the pics. A few more...

ab-so-lute-ly STUNNING!
Who did the engraving on the knife in Post #6, 3rd down, one day I will get one special knife of my own engraved like that!

I will add this pic of a wharncliffe lockback whittler, stunning. Without the help of Tony Bose, over the last few years, Tom would have never been able to build this knife.

Wow!

There aren't too many makers who could do that even with Tony's help.

very nice knives, the different knives have a very distinct common signature, in spite of their differences.

I am impressed with his work. The wharncliffe lockback whittler is THE hardest pattern to produce, it came out great.
