Tom Ploppert knives

Fresh off Tom's workbench, working class lock back. Awesome grinds and a real clean look to it,

Tom does great work and has one of if not the cleanest shops, it's very close.

Tom's latest, a difficult pattern, Winchester 1927, Tom's own dyed and jigged bone.

Thanks for looking,

Queries about contacting makers should be handled outside the discussion forum. Please use PM, VM, or email.

Is Tom Ploppert even a BF member? Never heard of him.

Thanks,

Mark

To my knowledge, Tom is not a member. In such cases a VM or email can be sent to the owner of the ogled knife to see if contact information for the maker is available.

Thank you Frank. I only buy from members when it comes to customs.

Had a good conversation with Tom on Sunday, working out the details of our custom damascus(Markus Balbach Leo IV) cattle knife. It is going to be a real challenge fitting a clip, punch and coping into the cattle knife frame. I think Tom is as excited about this one as me. I will post pics of the WIP as Tom sends them to me.

Here is another beauty that hasn't been posted
