Took the NWA knife for a hike, pic heavy.

T,
Great looking knife, I love the shot showing the hamon line:thumbup: Your photo always ROCK.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! My little Nikon takes some decent pics, believe me it's not my photo skills :D

I need a new camara, this Kodak is on its last leg and we have been very hard on it on our vacation out here in Wyoming.

The best thing I bought was a good case for mine. It's a Lowe Alpine with really dense foam in it. It's been banged around, dropped, at the bottom of my pack etc. But the camera still looks great.

I just received mine from UPS. I will try to get some pictures up on the web tonight but I am having trouble with my home internet connection. I told Nick that the fit, workmanship, balance and design of the knife is really excellant. It is a real work of art. Sharp as the devil. I am really looking forward to using this soon.

Here they are. The pictures don't do it justice. It feels absolutely excellent in the hand. Great balance and while it seems very strong its also very light. I am hoping to get out this weekend and do some "work" with it. Mine was a 4 inch blade with black canvas micarta.

Thanks again Nick. Fantastic work. Your an artist.

Nick, this knife is AWESOME!!! What a cutting tool. I'm blown away. I wish I were closer and could learn a little from you about the process you do with the handle and the grinds.

Sweet pics everybody :) , Fiddleback , nice pics,I ordered a pair similiar to yours, I just love the looks of the green handle....Thanks Nick for the work, and everbody who post pictures to pacify us in the wait mode:D ...Thanks again

Thanks for the great pictures fellas. I am truly happy you guys like the knives. One question though. What do you guys think of the BFSK stamp? I'm just curious.

Andy, I would love to have a visitor, but we are quite a ways apart. I would learn just as much from your work.

Thanks again
Nick:)

You're too modest. But thanks. Too much distance for me too. Maybe we'll meet at Blade one year.

Very well done bro. The stamp is good. I like the placement. Out of the way, and classy.

About the stamp. I hate to say this and its mostly because my eyes have gotten so bad this last year or two but what exactly does it say? I think it says something like BF?? 2007. I don't have it with me right now so I can't check it again. Am I close?

My camera wouldn't be able to pick up the stamp I think though my wifes might. I'll see if I can do something later tonight if someone doesn't beat me too it.

As far as placement its perfect. Your stamp on one side and the other stamp on the other side. Perfect. I know I'm using the word a lot but I'm really impressed.

Thanks Keith, The stamp is a bit difficult to read as I had to make it small to fit in the same area as my maker stamp. It says BFSK 2007. It also keeps it out of the way as not to be over powering and look like a billboard sign.

Nick:)

Got mine last night, it is simply amazing. Perfect grind lines, fit and finish is superb. This is my first full blown custom handmade knife and I must say I am extremely impressed. Nick is a true craftsman and an artist with steel.

This knife has done something else. I now realize after years of production knives why everyone suggests customs. You get the design you want, made of the materials you want, and as long as you chose the right maker, perfect fit and finish. I think it will be hard for me to buy production again. So thanks a lot everyone, there goes all my money :D

Now I have to do something very hard. Ship out the knife. Such a beautiful and functional knife needs some good looking and functional custom kydex to ride in.
