That's a very interesting matchbook case, Jack
I would have loved one of those back when I smoked :)

Great knives, too. I love the Boker Savannah

Horsewright Horsewright Dave...WOW...just WOW...love ya work.
Jack Black Jack Black hey Jack that horn "scout" type multibladed one you showed ...is that a La Vespa (the wasp)?...got one similar somewhere...now where did I ..ahh here tis.
The little Puma is buffler horn so black even the white bits are black.
The ones in the jug arent butter knives ..theyre from a set ...which has obvioysly been broken up...I only got 5 ..I think there would have been 6 plus forks...theyre table knives ...maybe steak knives ...factory edge ..serrated tips..curiososities for 1 dollar at the op shop..

Hows the edge holding of the kuk ? Ive got a cheapo one with buffalo handle ...soft as.

They are both Himilian Imports. So far so good. Seem pretty well hardened.....

I have an unknown full tang knukri with very soft steel. These are much harder.

They cut well also. Better cutting performance than my old Busse Khukri! (Better geometry).

Thanks my friend :) Yeah, I always wonder why smokers don't have nicer 'kit' ;)

Splendid TOOTS Jack Black Jack Black & waynorth waynorth  nearly a cacophony of beauties. :D

Thanks Ray :)

A horn-handled Ibberson pie knife! WHO KNEW? o_O

I really need one of these  I'm smitten Jack. I would never have thought...

Do they come in paler shades of horn - maybe stripey? :D

That's really nice Meako, I have other knives in the same pattern, but without horn. This one is a bit larger though

Those are all great Jack, but that last one WoW!! One of the reasons I quit working a lot in buffalo horn. Use to be pieces like that were easy to find, then not so much.

Thanks a lot buddy :) I certainly don't blame you for that Dave, the way it twists and warp, and your ram's horn knives look fantastic. Those last two knives were actually samples, but the problem was they were different to all the other horn the cutler had in stock o_O

Here's a great one from a very great friend @Jolipapa thanks Alain, superb.

Glass smooth horn, no shrink or flaking round the pins at all
I'm tooting and toting:D

And here's Chuck Berry, tooting his horn:D

Nice-looking knife Will, the stamps are quite fascinating too

A Stan Shaw locking folder. The horn is a wonderful black, with just a little amber streak on the pile side cover.

That's very special  Reminded me that I have this Stockman in horn by Stan too. He made it up with some old 'Shrade-Wostenholm' parts! :D Got a full range of his stamps on the brass liners
